My thoughts on Longhorn Steakhouse is that they’re ok at steaks. I’m not gonna lie and say that I don’t like a couple of other things off the menu but the burgers are not those items. Longhorn Steakhouse has 5 different burgers on their lunch menu but only one on their dinner menu. My eyes and mind both went straight for Boneless Chicken Wings appetizer.
I also like their Texas Cheese Fries (fries with three kinds of Cheese, Bacon, Chili and Jalapeños) but I opted out this time. I’ve had their Chili solo but I prefer it on the Fries even though they do go a little cheap on the Jalapeños. I’m a sucker for Chicken Strips, Nuggets, or whatever you’d like to call them and the Boneless Chicken Wings of course fall into that category. I liked them but I would have preferred them to be a little spicier. After much mental debate I order the only burger on their dinner menu, the Cheeseburger.
Their menu claims that this burger was juicy(not really) and that it’s half a pound (not likely since it was mostly onions). I liked the fact that it came with Mayo, Ketchup and Mustard (childhood thing I guess). The bun was nicely toasted and the addition of the Bacon and Swiss Cheese didn’t hurt proceedings. Would I return here to eat a burger here again ? Probably not, but if I did I’d go at lunch time to check out what else they have to offer.
