One of the questions I get asked a lot is where do you buy meat for BBQs? When we’re going to do a BBQ right, we usually go to Fresh Market. We’ve also purchased Burgers, Hot Dogs and Sausages from Whole Foods but prefer Fresh Market. Fresh Market sells Sirloin Burgers (a favorite of mine) with Bacon/Cheddar, Blue Cheese & Cajun Seasoning/Swiss mixed in. On this occasion we purchased 2 of each including the regular Sirloin Burgers.
We also got some Sweet and Spicy Sausages as well as Hot Dogs (all made by Fresh Market). Country Bob’s All Purpose Steak Sauce sent me a couple of bottles to try out so I figured this would be a good time to try the sauce out. One other thing, my family doesn’t like that I try to sneak Medium Burgers past them. It is unfortunate for me that most people I know like to eat their meat Well Done but I do what I can to enlighten them. Luckily I was able to fit everything on the grill.
I’m not one to put anything on the Burgers while cooking other than Salt and Pepper. I only put the Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce on one Burger.
These pictures almost look like a bad 1950s horror movie (switching back and forth between night and day). It seems as if they were taken at different times but it was all over the course of an hour. We also had some delicious drinks (including an imported Coke from ole Mexico).
When it was all said and done the platter looked beautiful.
Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce was so good I put in on a hot dog.
Of all the burgers, the one with the Cheddar and Bacon was my favorite. Best of all, everyone fell in love with Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce which was good because they didn’t realize I cooked the burgers Medium. Yess!!!
