While the Beast is away in NYC I was given a mission: Go to the Art Walk and try out the Michael’s Genuine Food Cart. I of course accepted his task and was off to the Art District. I was amazed to find out how many people were out and about, it was crazy like a party casino. I ended up finding a parking space about a block and a half away from the Cart’s location. I was really able to find my way to the cart due the aroma of meat.
The Cart was running at 7pm and I arrived around 8pm. By that time, almost all the food was gone (They were only serving 100 portions). 2 Hedy’s Kasha Knishes, 2 House made Sausage Sandwich with all the condiments, and Homemade Butter Popcorn Ice Cream.
The Knishes were great and hit the spot to start off. First bite in to the Sausage I was able to taste a slight spiciness which is similar to Brown Mustard. I hate Mustard and Pickles but that didn’t bother me one bit. By 9pm the Cart was sold out but I was ready to have another Sausage.
