Chef Jorge issued a Burger Throwdown to his students and next thing you know it became an event. The Inaugural Memorial Day Burger Throwdown was held at Tree Tops Park in Davie, Florida. Dori Zinn (Creator & Writer of Fat Kids Club) and Chef Dennis (Chef at Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale) along with your favorite blogger Burger Beast were the 3 the judges for the event. There was also a competition for best side (Winner: Fueyo Mac N’ Cheese) and best dessert (Winner: Stiletto Chocolate Cake).
