Wing Commander (no relation to the horrible Freddie Prinze Jr. film) is a mobile food trailer that serves Burgers, Wings, Chippies (more on that later), Chicken Sandwiches and Cinnamon Chips.

I had the Sweet & Sassy Victory Wings. The Sauce on the Wings were better than the Wings themselves. There are 6 sauces to choose from including a new Caribbean Sauce which was rather popular when I was there.

The Sandwiches are available in “Moo, Cluck or Fungus” aka Burger, Chicken or Mushroom Cap.
Heart Attack Burger
I tried the Heart Attack Burger (Chili, Bacon & Cheddar Cheese) which could have been way better had it been a fresh patty. The toppings tasted good and would go better on a Hot Dog. The No Bones About it Chicken Sandwich was full of flavor and the Bleu Cheese Crumbles really added some nice texture to the Sandwich. I can still taste the sauce in my mouth right now. A better bun would have helped both sandwiches severely.

On to the Chippies….which are fresh cut thick Potato Chips which can be ordered in 3 different varieties: Chili/Cheddar Cheese, Wing Sauce & Bleu Cheese, and Bacon, Jalapeños & Monterey Jack Cheese.

These are the real champions here. Both variations we had were delicious and must order items when you visit. And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s only one dessert item on the menu, Sweet Cinnamon Chips. These fried Tortilla Chips covered in Powdered Sugar and Cinnamon are addictive.
