Bites On Wheels – Miami Street Food Truck

Bites On Wheels Mini Truck

I’ll admit I made a mistake when I ate at Bites On Wheels. I regret not ordering the Steak Sandwich aka Pan Con Bistec. Bites On Wheels is a mini food truck (alright not really a truck) but it’s laid out well enough that some good eats can be prepared.

After looking over the menu I decide on 3tacos (1 of each: Chicken, Steak and Carnitas) & a Hot Dog with a Sausage to go. The all beef Hot Dog and Sausage are gigantic and served in a Media Noche Sandwich Bread (an Eggy, slightly Sweet Bread).

I had both with Potato Sticks (not a particular fan of these), Mustard and the red NY style Tomato Onion Sauce. While both meat sticks tasted great, the bread may have been a tad too big. It couldn’t hurt to possibly have toasted the bread also. Now, the Tacos were right on point. The Salsa Verde & Salsa Roja were good but the Chipotle Sauce was killer.

The Carnitas (Pork) was my favorite of the three but you won’t go wrong having any of them. All are topped with diced Red Onions and Cilantro. So where to from here? The Steak Sandwich is the final frontier and captain, full speed ahead. Till next time.

About Burger Beast

I started writing the Burger Beast food blog to tell folks about those little forgotten gems in South Florida. Over the course of the last 5 years or so I've added News, Opinions, & Tips on a variety of Food related subjects. My first love will always be Burgers but Comfort Food is where it's at. At the end of the day I’m a regular dude who writes about a bunch of things I think you should know about.
