Daddy’s Grill – Miami Food Truck

The first thing that caught my eye about Daddy’s Grill’s Menu is that they’re doing “Discos Voladores”aka Flying Saucers.

The contraption needed for “Discos Voladores”

I haven’t had those since I was a kid. If you’re still in the dark about it, that thing you see above is used to make sandwiches. Daddy’s Grill actually had theirs brought over from Cuba which makes them as authentic as you’re going to get. You put your sandwich together, rip the ends off (well at least I did), close it up and toast over the burners in your kitchen. The two most popular Discos Voladores to make are ham/cheese and guava/cream cheese, which are on the menu here. You also have to get the bacon cheese fries and try their homemade dipping sauce which is awesome.

About Burger Beast

I started writing the Burger Beast food blog to tell folks about those little forgotten gems in South Florida. Over the course of the last 5 years or so I've added News, Opinions, & Tips on a variety of Food related subjects. My first love will always be Burgers but Comfort Food is where it's at. At the end of the day I’m a regular dude who writes about a bunch of things I think you should know about.

Maybe I wouldn’t delete your comments if they weren’t filled with lies and jealousy about certain food trucks only.
