About Burger Beast

I started writing the Burger Beast food blog to tell folks about those little forgotten gems in South Florida. Over the course of the last 5 years or so I've added News, Opinions, & Tips on a variety of Food related subjects. My first love will always be Burgers but Comfort Food is where it's at. At the end of the day I’m a regular dude who writes about a bunch of things I think you should know about.

Tonight,I was at sw 8th street. Had some of Dim Ssam's Spicy Pork and Cheesey Tator Tots. Wow. What a bang for your buck. They delivered a delightful tandem of creamy cheesiness and delicious spice. Also had a Sweet Meltdown from Ms. Cheezious, who I just learned recently acquired a talented young culinary specialist by the name of Adam Mayer. Had the pleasure of working with him for a couple of years and the guy embodies the true attitude of the Food Truck industry. A perfect combo of Fun and True Professionalism. I wasn't sure what I wanted for dessert, and was sold on what I later realized was EXACTLY what my taste buds were craving.Warm ricotta cheese, fresh orange marmalade, all wrapped in a crispy Texas Toast, with hot chocolate sauce for dipping. Can't wait to continue my research of the perfect food truck meal tomorrow night. Burger Beast Truck, here I come, although I tend to be partial to Rey de las Fritas over Mago, but they are definitely on of the top dogs when it comes to Cuban Fritas.
