Here’s the agenda for Burger Beast’s National Hamburger Month Celebration. A couple of these events sound like bad Planet of the Apes sequels but here goes:
A food eating competition to decide who is the Pincho Factory “Foreman”. The competitors will eat 3 “Try Me Tuesdays” Specialty Burgers consecutively in a timed event. The winner will receive the title of champ and $100. There is a fee for entering and you can email Pincho Factory at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Friday May 13th: Riverwalk Trust’s Burger Battle II
I was a judge at last year’s event when Georgie’s Alibi came out of nowhere to win the Best Burger in Ft. Lauderdale title. Everyone was left stunned by their victory and I can tell you it was well deserved. They’re back to defend their title, I’ll be back judging and I’ll also be giving away 2 pairs of tickets to the Burger Battle II event during May.
Who wants to square off in an slider eating contest, mano a mano with me? You’ll have your chance as Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill will be open on Sunday (they’re normally closed) to hold the contest. You’ll also be able to order new menu items like the Bacon Cheese Fries I’ve been begging for. Email Gilbert’s at email@example.com if you’re interested in participating in the slider-off.
Wednesday May 18th: Celebrate American Craft Beer Week and National Hamburger Month at The Filling Station
What could be better than a Burger and Beer Pairing Dinner? I don’t have answer for that so I’m expecting you here!
Friday May 20th: Street Food Fridays – All Burger Edition
Food Trucks. That’s right. 16 Trucks and they all have to have a new burger on the menu to celebrate National Hamburger Month. Grill Master Cafe is claiming to be creating a cinnamon bun burger for this event. I’m hoping for some craziness.
Chef Richard Hales is going to put together a burger brunch buffet menu including breakfast items with a Sakaya Kitchen twist to celebrate National Hamburger Month . It’s going to be limited and tickets are now available.
