Wendy’s Stand on Pink Slime

Wendy’s placed this ad in eight major daily newspapers around the United States on Friday, including USA Today, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune and The Miami Herald. Pink Slime or its lesser known name, Finely Textured Beef has managed to gross out a nation of folks.

Pink Slime is lean beef trimmings treated with ammonia. The fact that fast food restaurants (Burger King, McDonald’s & Taco Bell) have admitted to using it in the past is not as horrible as finding out that supposedly 70% of the ground beef for sale at supermarkets contain it.

They’re not a new thing as beef scraps have been used to control beef costs since the ’70s. But, the thought that is exists and is in something you’re eating is pretty creepy.

THE QUESTION OF PINK SLIME IS WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE INCREASE OF IT’S USE COMPARED TO 5 OR MORE YEARS AGO? I GOT GROSSED OUT USING GROUND BEEF BEFORE PINK SLIME BECAME PUBLIC.
IT WAS LIKE CHEWING A WET SPONGE AND THE PAN WAS FULL OF “WATER”? USE LESS QUALITY AND MORE PROFIT IS MADE. IF IT IS SO DESPERATE TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR PEOPLE START PREACHING IN SUNDAY SCHOOL TO HAVE LESS BIRTHS SO WE HAVE A POPULATION IN PROPORTION TO OUR FINITE EARTH.GOD AND HEAVEN ARE WAITING FOR INSANITY TO CHANGE. WHO WOULD NOT WANT SUCH A LESSON TO BE LEARNED SO AS NOT TO DO THE SAME ELSE WHERE?. WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO WAKE UP AND THAT MEANS YOU, THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS APPOINTED BY EACH OTHER, NOT THE SHEEP YOU BELIEVE WE ARE.
