It was a given that I’d be ordering a Burger at Between the Bun but I had also heard about their legendary fresh cut Nathan’s style French Fries (…..Fries now on BB radar……). The owners of Between the Bun had a Kosher Deli in New York years ago, moved to South Florida and opened up Between the Bun which means they must know meat.
Kosher dog on the menu? Kosher Dog with deli Mustard is now ordered even though they were not part of the original dinner plan. The Dog actually came out first and had a delicious crispy exterior from the flame grill they use. It was perfect with the Mustard on the toasted bun.
The Fries are unbelievable, yes I said unbelievable. I felt like going behind the counter and stuffing my pockets with them….that good.
The BTB is a great char-grilled 8 oz. Burger. I added Bacon and Cheese to it and no condiments at all. It was just right that way. It’s served up with those usual suspects (Lettuce, Tomato and Onions) but I ixnayed those fellas. Keep it classic and make sure you have some of those Fries.
