Everyone keeps asking if I’ve eaten the burger at Ravenous Pig. So, that’s how I found myself at Ravenous Pig for lunch during my next visit to Central Florida.
We walked in as they opened their doors and looked for a spot with two things, great lighting and a good view of the action. The lighting is always important when you’re trying to snap the best possible pictures.
We started the meal with a chilled corn Soup. I must have missed the memo on the chilled part, but I did enjoy it.
They had me at soft pretzels. The two pretzels bring a Taleggio-Porter fondue and a whole grain mustard that I wish lived in my refrigerator. Yes, you must order this.
Of course, the Pub Burger with Meyers natural Angus beef, caramelized onions, and buttermilk blue cheese on a brioche bun is the thing to get. And by telling you that it was just good, it’d be a massive understatement.
It was way better than that mouth-watering picture, plus the shoestring fries were great. The Taleggio-Porter fondue and whole-grain mustard hung around long to dip some fries in them.
At some point, I’d like to come back for dinner or hit up the bunch. I strongly feel that everything on the menu is right up my alley.
