Fall For The Arts Festival 3 Year Anniversary #tbt #throwbackthurday

Fall For The Arts Logo

Today marks the 3 year anniversary of the Fall for the Arts Festival in South Florida. In late summer of 2010 I was approached by the Miami Herald to curate the food for an “Arts Festival” that was going to be held at the Adrienne Arsht Center. I suggested we get together the Food Trucks that were just really starting to come into their own at this point. Many folks had seen them around town but didn’t know where exactly to find them. It was South Florida’s first opportunity to catch them all in one place. Nacho Mama’s Mexican Grill came up from Key Largo and The Rolling Stove drove down from Delray Beach where it was based out of at the time for the event. It was also the debut for La Camaronera’s Fish Box and Sakaya Kitchen’s Dim Ssäm à gogo. And the rest is Miami Food Trucks history.

Here’s a .pdf of the Menu for that day in 2010.

About Burger Beast

I started writing the Burger Beast food blog to tell folks about those little forgotten gems in South Florida. Over the course of the last 5 years or so I've added News, Opinions, & Tips on a variety of Food related subjects. My first love will always be Burgers but Comfort Food is where it's at. At the end of the day I’m a regular dude who writes about a bunch of things I think you should know about.
