This year Food Trucks at Arts Park will once again host an event for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation which helps raise money to battle Childhood Cancer. It is taking place this Monday September 16th from 5:30-9:30PM.
Here is St. Baldrick’s Mission Statement in case you’re not familiar with them:
“The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.”
There is also a dunk tank which will have local celebrities like Local 10 Morning Anchor Jason Martinez, Local 10 MJ Acosta and Mickey Byrnes owner Mark Rowe among others.
And all the Food Trucks will have donation jars where you can drop a few dollars.

On Saturday September 21st at Mickey Byrnes in Hollywood at 4PM will be the big event where every “shavee” who has collected donations will have their heads shaved bald to support the kids with cancer.
