I’ve been gone for a few weeks and so many great and cool things have happened. I may have mentioned some of them on Instagram but in case you missed it, here’s a quick recap of 5 things to be on the lookout for.
Doce Provisions in Little Havana (541 SW 12th Ave) – Doce Provisions by Chefs Justin Sherrer & Lisetty Llampalla should be opening Doce Provisions real soon in the old Little Bread spot. Justin is currently the Chef at Cinebistro in Dolphin Mall, which I love. I’m looking forward to the Chorizo Croquetas, Lechon Asado Tacos and Pan con Bistec Sliders. Ends Meat Eatery Finally Opens (1910 Hollywood Blvd) – I was a big fan of Chef Kevin Dreifuss and what he did on the Pescados Unidos Food Truck. He’s a very talented dude. He can finally show some of those chops and flavor combinations and explosions along with creations by Chef/Partner Kennole Wong. The opening has been delayed for over a year but it’s finally open. I’m dying to get my mitts on the Hot Chicken Sandwich and Mitch hedBurger on the Lunch Menu. Check out the rest of the menu HERE.
HipPOPs Pops into Cheeseburger Baby SoBe (1505 Washington Avenue) – If you’re as big a fan of HipPOPs handcrafted gelato bars as I am, I know it must pain you when you need a fix & they’re not around. Well guess what? Cheeseburger Baby is bringing you ‘Burgers and Bars’, a full HipPOPs experience inside of SoBe’s most iconic Burger joint. And yes, it’s already open for business.
Mojo Donuts & Fried Chicken Coming this Summer (Westchester) – Very happy to announce that my friend Jimmy Piedrahita after working closely with Shawn Neifeld (Founder of Mojo Donuts) will be opening Mojo Donuts & Fried Chicken in my hometown of Westchester. I’ll have more details for you as soon I’m allowed to share them 🙂
Ms. Cheezious #2 in Coral Gables (1915 Ponce de Leon Blvd) – Ms. Cheezious will open their 2nd Restaurant, this time in Coral Gables where Route 9 was. Opening date? April 12th. Why that date? Not because it’s my Birthday (which it is) but because it’s National Grilled Cheese Day. Make sense to me.
