The great folks at Shake Shack have put together this great contest exclusively on Burger Beast celebrating National Hamburger Month. Starting today Monday May 20th through Friday May 31st at 12PM you have an opportunity to show the world why you are the “Biggest Shake Shack Fan”. The contest is open to everyone in the United States so I’m not playing South Florida favorites here.

How do you prove you are the “Biggest Shake Shack Fan”?

Simple. Go on Instagram and post a picture of yourself: Maybe it’s a picture of you enjoying a Shack Burger? Or you posing in front of your favorite Shake Shack location? Or maybe you just holding up a sign that says “Will Work For Shack Burger”. It’s up to you but the most creative picture will win the Grand Prize. And just to show you the kind of people Shake Shack are, there will be 3 runner up prizes too!

Hard Rock Cafe was one of my obsessions growing up. It was also one of the first non Fast Food Burgers I had as a kid so it holds a special place in my heart. Since it is National Hamburger Month I thought it might be cool to ask Hard Rock Café’s Executive Chef Russell Booth a few questions. He not only answered them but he also greeted me at the beginning of the video too. I’m not gonna lie to you, that was pretty awesome and unexpected.

Hard Rock Café, Hollywood celebrates National Hamburger Month with a unique contest! The Scoop: They are giving their fans a chance to celebrate National Hamburger Month with a beach getaway to the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana.

Here’s what you do:

  1. Take a picture of yourself with a Hard Rock Legendary Burger at Hard Rock Café, Hollywood
  2. Post via Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #hardrockburger or upload it to www.hardrockburger.com

Who Wants To Win Tickets To This Weekend’s New Times “Original” Beerfest?

I’ve gotten my hands on a couple of regular tickets and a couple of VIP tickets for this Saturday’s 16th Annual Beerfest. If you’re not familiar with the New Times Beerfest, you will be to sample more than 100 local & international Beers. There’s also Food, Music and for the first time this year, a March Madness Pavilion where you can watch the championship basketball games on Jumbotrons with high-tech sound systems. It’s taking place this Saturday at Esplanade Park (32 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301) from 6-11PM.

If you’re interested in attending tickets are $30 (prepaid online at NewTimesBeerfest.com) or $40 at the door and include unlimited beer sampling. Attendees may also choose to enjoy the VIP Experience in the VIP lounge, an area where guests will have access to the premium Beerfest adventure, including unlimited liquor samples, food samples from some of Fort Lauderdale’s best restaurants, unique craft beers available only in VIP, comfortable seating, premium stage views, and giveaways. A limited amount of VIP tickets is available for $75 prepaid online or $85 at the door. Tickets for both general admission and VIP are limited and restricted to those age 21 and up.

The Sprung Beer Festival (brought to you by the creators of Grovetoberfest) is here to celebrate not only the start of Spring Break but the growing Craft Beer scene here in South Florida. For you bar hoppers there’s even a bunch of games like Giant Jenga, Mega Twister and Human Bowling. Tickets will still be available at the door for General Admission tomorrow but Beer Socialite and VIP tix sales end tonight at Midnight .
