Boba Station Food Truck Is Serving Up Bubble Tea All Over Miami

You know, I was just telling someone the other day that what Miami needs is a Bubble Tea Truck. Someone must have heard me as my prayers have been answered. But in all honesty, I hadn’t tried Bubble Tea til a few weeks ago. I was intrigued which is perfect timing for me since……

CUBANCUBE from Islas Canarias – Miami Food Truck

From the good folks at Islas Canarias restaurant, home of the Best Croqueta in the world comes CUBANCUBE.  2 years ago at my inaugural Burgie Awards I awarded them Best Croqueta, a distinction that’s hard to disagree with once you have one. They’re not a one trick pony though. There’s a wide variety of Cuban influenced dishes to drive you crazy. I personally can’t wait to try the Milanesa Bite (breaded steak bites topped with a house tomato based sauce, ham and cheese) or the Cuban Belly Buns (Cuban style marinated Pulled Pork topped with roasted Garlic, caramelized Onions and pork “Cracklings”). Their restaurant dates back to 1977 so you know they do it right plus the ability to now have a Croqueta on the go is never a bad thing!

Islas Canarias’ CUBANCUBE makes its debut this week at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino on Thursday Night!

The Cheese Steak Gourmet Truck – Miami, Florida

The Cheese Steak Gourmet comes to you with protein options that include Shaved Rib-Eye to Chicken and even Pork Belly. While the CSG Staples look great you’ll also have the option to create your own masterpiece from a whole slew of toppings. Don’t forget to add an egg on your Cheese Steak! It doesn’t stop there. There are Corn Nuggets, Fried Cukes , and even Disco Fries (a must have). And to wash it all down you have the option of either their Daily Bread Pudding or Donuts. I’m stuffed just thinking about it.

El Rincon Del Coquí – Miami Food Trucks

El Rincon Del Coquí is a small orange trailer serving up some big Puerto Rican flavors. The attraction for me was the Tripleta sandwich. The sammy comes with Churrasco, Chicken, Pork, Lettuce and their homemade sauce and served cut in half (wrap style). For those of you begging for some diversity out on the Miami Food Truck scene, El Rincon Del Coquí fits the bill.

The Frita Man boldly claims that he has “La Mejor Frita Cubana”.  Those are some lofty claims but you can find out for yourself tonight as he debuts at 2640 W 84th Street in Hialeah from 5PM – 9PM. Plans are for Frita Man to cater to the night time crowd when the munchies set in but he’ll also be attending all the Food Truck gatherings in the near future! Check out the menu:

Manila Rice – Miami Food Truck

Manila Rice is a simple black trailer with their Miami Vice-esque logo affixed to the side. It shouldn’t deter you from having your first real exotic Food Truck experience in South Florida. They’re serving up Filipino Food such as Lumpia, Halohalo, Turon and of course Adobo.  You can find them tonight at 144th and Biscayne Blvd from 6:30PM – 11PM and hopefully they’ll be selling those cool shirts too!
