Hole in the Wall Pub is difficult to find. It’s hidden in the back right corner of a strip mall. Seating inside are some picnic type tables and bar stools along with some full on tables outside. I take a seat at the bar, nearest to the grill/cooking area and size up the menu. There was something I had been thinking but didn’t really want to confirm until I tried the food.

Betty’s Best was where everyone in the Pinecrest/Palmetto Bay area would go to get their Fuddruckers fix (it was a former Fuddruckers clone & location at one time) for the last few years until it closed last year. Now the wait is over because the original has returned. Fuddruckers has opened a shiny happy new location in Palmetto Bay by the same folks who own the Doral, Hialeah and Pembroke Pines locations. It’s the largest location in Florida which seems fitting considering their popularity in this area.

On Monday March 7th is the Grand Opening of the new Kripy Kreme shop in Palmetto Bay. KK is also doing a contest with the winners to be decided on that day. You know what’s really good? The Chicago style Italian Beef Sandwich from Cipriano’s Deli. I don’t think there’s any to say that the pic can’t tell you. I’ve never had a Chicago style Beef Sandwich and if this is what I’m missing then I’m booking a flight to Chi-town tonight.
