Chick-fil-A – Doral, Florida

Chick-fil-A - Doral, Florida

Right where a Krispy Kreme previously stood is now a Chick-fil-A. The only 2 things I knew about Chick-fil-A was that one, McDonald’s Southern Style Chicken Sandwich is a copycat of their famed Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and two, S. Truett Cathy, the owner of Chick-fil-A is a devout Baptist who does not let any of the stores open on Sunday.

He also owns Dwarf House (which has a “dwarf-sized” door for children and some adults to enter through). There is a regular door in case you were wondering. It’s fast food and sit-down service like their Truett’s Grill. Plus he also opened up Upscale Pizza which serves pizza, hot dogs and sandwiches, all located near Atlanta, Georgia but let’s get back to this visit to Chick-fil-A.

My wife Marcela orders Chicken Nuggets which I know does not bode well for me or my meal. She should be eating the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich I ordered for myself with her eyes in the next few minutes. I also got some Chick-fil-A Chicken Strips and Waffle Fries to share. The variety of sauces here is good and plus I had never seen packets of Texas Pete Hot Sauce before, which makes we want to take some home for safe keeping.

Everything was excellent, fried perfectly and not greasy. The Chicken is pressure cooked in peanut oil and it makes a difference in the flavor and juiciness. I suggest you order their Lemonade which is just right for this food. And one last thing, you’ll never see friendlier service in a fast food place, at least I never have.

P.S.: My wife ended up eating my sandwich.

I loooooove me some Chick-fil-A! Especially that Chicken Sandwich. Just that the two free standing locations I know about are so out of the way. I gotta find a reason to go out in Doral. Don’t they got some type of huge str..gentleman’s club nearby?

If you're gonna sin with chicken, this is the place to do it! I can't recall a better FF chicken sandwich except the Southern at Wendy's, which has good and bad days.

Anonymous is sure right about everything–Wendy's has some amazing days with that sandwich (lettuce, mayo, pickles)and some that are just not there. With Chick, it's all good all the time. Downside is that I have to go to the big mall in Boca to get one and eat it in the food court. Good for people watching, I guess…
