These 4 books should tie me up for the next few months:
The story of the founder of KFC as told to us by the indubitable Josh Osersky, writer of The Hamburger: A History. Colonel Sanders and the American Dream is out now.
150 recipes from street food across the U.S. including Miami landmark La Camaronera’s Fish Box truck. Truck Food Cookbook is written by John T. Edge who also wrote the must-read for you burger fans out there, Hamburgers & Fries: An American Story. You’ll have to wait until May 8th for this one.
Rachael Ray’s The Book of Burger includes more than 200 recipes (Burgers, Sliders, Sloppies, Fries & Sides). I’m not sure what “Sloppies” are but she’s the godmother of all Burger Events so I’m willing to give it a shot. The book is out June 5th.
The Skillet Cookbook is the book for those of you wondering what it takes to have a food truck. Josh Henderson not only reveals recipes that made his airstream trailer popular but also ” the business of running a street-food truck.” You’ll have to wait until July 10th for this bad boy.
