El Corral, the Famed Colombian Burger Joint is Coming to Miami

El Corral founded in Colombia in January of 1983 is finally making its way to the U.S. Known as the best burger in Colombia by many folks,El Corral has over 100 locations spread across South and Central America.

It’s a Fast Food joint with quality ingredients such as Aged Cheeses, Hummus, Argentinian Sausage, Stir-Fry Vegetables, Foie-Gras and different Bread options. Customers are able to create over 16,000 combinations. There is one thing I’ve never seen before, their smaller burgers (1/4 lb.) are cooked on a flat top/griddle and the larger ones (1/2 lb. & 3/4 lb.) are grilled .

It now has a tentative opening date of Wednesday January 2nd 2013 in Doral at 7800 Northwest 25th Street.

My take on El Corral. Our order was taken by Carlos C, a manager I suppose because he had on a white shirt. I was disappointed with his attitude. He seemed bothered because I wanted to know what ingredients came in the burger. The .50 for pickles I find ridiculous. I asked for no tomatoes and was not given a credit, lol. The price of the burger is fine because it is good quality meat. 3.00 for fries or onion rings is a bit pricey but still acceptable. The pickles for .50 and the managers customer service were the biggest downfall. We spent $60 for 4 people and at the end of the day it’s a burger joint. Had the service been better I might have gone back. I’ll stay with Fuddruckers and add all the pickles I want!!!
