Red Robin to open in Pembroke Pines on Monday July 23rd

You’ve seen the commercials and wondered how come there’s not a Red Robin in your neighborhood. This was of course after you couldn’t get that “Red Robin, Yum!” catchphrase out of your head. Well Pembroke Pines….the time has come. Red Robin will be opening in your neck of the woods (14401 Pine Blvd) on Monday July 23rd at 11AM.

Just like every Red Robin, the Pines location will offer more than 24 Burger creations with plenty more possibilities, there are more than 100 different topping options. Best of all is the Bottomless Steak Fries aka French Fry Free Refills.

The two newest additions to their menu are the Fiery Ghost and Cry Baby styles that use the Ghost Pepper. Descriptions are below:

Cry Baby Style –  Onion-lovers prepare to shed tears of happiness! The Cry Baby Style ups the onion ante by combining crispy onion straws tossed in a unique Sriracha dry seasoning with even more onions sautéed in Cholula Hot Sauce. The one-two punch of crispy and sautéed onions are complimented by pepper jack cheese and a ghost pepper ketchup, warming up taste buds with the unique flavor of the ghost pepper without overwhelming levels of spice.

Cry Baby Tavern Style

Fiery Ghost Style –  Red Robin has cooked up a new recipe for burger success with this boundary-pushing style sure to have you grabbing the nearest milkshake to cool down. The style’s star is a one of the world’s hottest chile peppers – the ghost pepper, which teams up with both fresh-cut and fried jalapeños atop pepper jack cheese to round out this tour-de-fire.

Fiery Ghost Tavern Style

The Ghost Pepper is no joke and anyone who’s a pepper aficionado will be able to attest to that. I’m looking forward to trying both of these out and seeing just how hot they are.

Our friends at Red Robin have donated 2 $25 Gift Cards to celebrate the opening of their Pembroke Pines location.

I’m intrigued try the Ghost because I know a certain local restaurant that has one hell of a hot burger too… But does Red Robin also have a cheese filled burger like another local business in Hollywood…??? Since meeting Sef, I’ve taken my burger tastes to whole new level…!!!!! I’ve never been to a Red Robin, but I’ll check em out if they are BB approved….

Well I do have that Reddd Robin song stock in my head. After reading this blog and doing a little research on the site, I want to sink my teeth into the following: Blue ribbon, Whiskey river BBQ, All-American Patty Melt, Cry Baby Tavern Style. Of course, Facebooking it, tweeting it, and Four Squaring all about it. 🙂 Thanks.

Fries, fries, and more fries… With ranch dressing! And while I’m there I might as well get a burger with Swiss and mushrooms, which I remember eating at Red Robin years ago in high school. I’ve been waiting for them to come here – yay!

In a world of delicious burgers and my bad genes, I have to say that I am a big The Ensenada Chicken Platter! I’m counting calories, so it’s nice to have plenty of dining options. It’s one of the only places where I can eat healthy and not be jealous of my skinny jean-clad friends!

A Red’s Tavern Double would be my choice. Looks to have a perfect amount of toppings paired with 2 patties of delicious beef to ramp up the taste. YUMMMMM!

I drove to Fort Myers from Ft. Lauderdale once just for Red Robin. It was worth it. So excited about the Pembroke Pines opening. I would love to eat the Whiskey River BBQ burger.. the bourbon glaze.. yea not sure how that could be anything but sublime. Washing it down with a Freckled Lemonade which is also exceptional. Mmmm. Burger goodness.

I am very much looking forward to this, and definitely looking to taste the prime chophouse again, yum!

  • July 18, 2012 at 8:50 PM

I cannot wait to try it all. I will definitely try both the Cry Baby and the Fiery Ghost versions of the Tavern Burgers. But I can always fall back on a Royal Robin with fried egg and bacon, and don’t forget the Chocolate Malted or an adult beverage. Dine with The Butcher, Beast. We’ll talk meat all day long (and 80’s wrestling).

I cant wait to try the fiery ghost style!! Looking forward to tears of joy after devouring it! YYUUUMMMM
