Last year, Lucky 13 from Salt Lake City won the World Burger Champion title at the World Food Championships in Las Vegas. This year, Second City Smoke was crowned the 2013 World Burger Champion. They earned their spot at the World Food Championship by winning the qualifying event, Bull Burger Battle in their hometown of Chicago, Il. The funny thing is they aren’t even a restaurant but a couple of pitmasters who enter BBQ competitions.
