This isn’t my first BurgerFi rodeo, I’ve been to a few of them here and there. The difference is now I’ve got a BurgerFi just a few miles from my home with the opening of their Coral Gables location. I’ve worked my way through the menu over the last year or so and I’m set in my ways when it comes to what I’m having.
I always always always (three times for added effect) have a BurgerFi Cheeseburger (Double Angus burger, Double American Cheese, & BurgerFi Sauce). My friend Christine complains that I eat colorless Burgers since I skip on the Lettuce & Tomato so I’ve included a picture of the *BurgerFi Cheeseburger as it was originally envisioned for her viewing pleasure.
The Texas Chili Cheese Dog is dangerous. Why? Well, I could see myself getting addicted to it badly. I always keep it at arm’s length and order it every once in a while but it’s creeping up to becoming an every time thing. The Dog itself is great, the Chili alone isn’t really too special but there’s something in the Hot Sauce they use which gets my salivary glands jonesing for more. I didn’t even care for the BurgerFi Hot Sauce the first time I had it and now it’s what draws me to their wiener, I mean Dog.
I am currently in a love affair with the fresh cut Fries at BurgerFi, which are cooked in Peanut Oil before you ask. They are available in Small, Large and Big Bucket sizes. The Fries can be had with Salt & Vinegar, Parmesan Cheese & Herbs, Hot Cajun Spices, Cheese Sauce, BurgerFi Chili & BurgerFi Chili & Cheese Sauce, that’s not for me. These Fries are so good that I eat them straight up with nothing on them.
The first time I visited BurgerFi I ordered their Cry & Fries which is a half order of Onion Rings and a half order of the Fries. Don’t get me wrong, they’ve got some great Onion Rings but damn them and their Fries. I’ve gone from Small to Large to Big Bucket but I have yet to eat it all. As you can see it’s a little excessive, alright maybe really excessive for one person to eat by them-self.
I can now take BurgerFi home too since it’s so close. Now if we could do something about the horrible parking situation in Coral Gables on Miracle Mile. Well, you can at least walk off the Big Bucket of Fries on the stroll back to your car.

*The BurgerFi Cheeseburger with Lettuce & Tomato belonged to my friend Mario. I snapped a picture of his because I don’t believe in such sacrilege.
