Question from @MIACulinaryTour on Twitter: If you would have to recommend 1 Cuban restaurant to someone who is visiting Miami, which one would it be?

BB: There are many Cuban restaurants that I frequent but my favorite and the one I always suggest to out of towners is Luis Galindo Latin American #1 (57th & 8th Street). It’s also my parent’s favorite too.

Question from Roy Martinez through the BB Blog Form: Hey Beast! South Florida has a great food scene. In your opinion, what, not too eclectic, cuisine is seriously under-represented down here? Oh, and big ups to Chunks!!! Tell him I said hello!

BB: I was a little thrown off by your use of the word cuisine at first. My answer may shock you since I’m closely associated with it but I really think that the South Florida Food Truck scene is in need of some excitement. Where are all these great fusion and original foods that I see all over the country? The answer? Not here, unfortunately.

Question from smcj through the BB Blog Form: Where can I get good, old school pan Cubano? The kind you buy in the morning and it’s stale at night y con la tirita de palma.

BB: I’m not so sure that what you’re looking for exists any longer. I asked the fountain of Cuban information Tony Bobo from Los Bobos and he confirmed that. If I ever do come across one, I’ll update this answer or sing it from the highest of highs also…You didn’t ask but I like to get my Cuban Bread from Pastelmania in Little Havana.

Question from Mr.BadWeed through the BB Blog Form: 2 Part Question. Part 1, what would be your dream menu of App, Main, and Dessert? All places possible old and new.
Part 2, what beer would you wash it down with?

BB: First of all, great name. Second of all, let me prepare you for what’s going to be a very boring dream menu. I’ll go with a beef only sauce heavy Chili to start with; some roasted, then grilled & Fried Chicken Wings in a buttery hot sauce that would make me cry; a double thin patty Cheeseburger smashed & cooked on a flat top with thick crispy Bacon & toasted Challah bread and finally a warm Apple Crumble for dessert topped with a scoop of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Beer? I’d go local with La Rubia from Wynwood Brewing Company.

Question from Jeanie through the BB Blog Form: Hi Mr. Beast, I’m hoping you can help me. I used to go to Bogarts @Boca to get a yummy lamb burger but sad to say they took it off the menu 🙁 I live in Coconut Creek ( near Pompano ) and I was wondering do you know any restaurants who serves lamb burgers? Also I like buffalo burgers as well. So any suggestions for either or both burgers??

BB: my bud Jamie of the blog Burgers by the Beach (which you should check out) suggests you try Taverna Kyma in Boca for the Lamb and Relish for the Buffalo

Question from M. Perez through the BB Blog Form: Whats Fat Girl Hedonist like in real life? Is she a bitch or is she nice?

BB: *A nice bitch.

Question from SmileMaker through the BB Blog Form: Do u ship the cheese curds to Orlando area? If so, how much?

BB: Alright, I’ll bite……currently we only ship to the South Florida market but we have plans to expand. Would you be interested in our new line Cheese Turds? They were created exclusively for Dogs who can’t enough of Cat shit but want the flavor profile of a nice creamy cheese.
