I had to find out from one of these delivery services about the existence of Fat Moe’s and it’s right around the corner from my HQ. Upon further inspection, I learn that Fat Moe’s is located inside the Gas Station on the corner of 57th & Flagler, right across the street from El Palacio de los Jugos.
I was so excited while looking over the menu, so on my first order (which I had delivered), I chose Moe’s Legendary Burger, Moe’s World Famous Steak Sandwich, Beer Battered Onion Rings, and Hot Wings.
The Burger is ground in-house and I opted to add Candied Onions and Provolone Cheese on a Kaiser Bun. It’s char-grilled, which is nice since most folks nowadays prefer to cook on the flat-top. I like to have Burger options at my disposal and this is a win-win for everyone.
There’s another Burger on the Menu called the Moe Moves To Miami Burger with Sweet Plantains, Melted Jalapeño Cheese & Moe’s Secret Spread (LTO too). It sounded interesting and could be another winner. It’s up on my queue for next time.
The Chicken Wings were crispy and tossed in a great Hot Sauce (I’m gonna assume Frank’s) and the Beer Battered Onions were great but probably could have used a Ranch Dipping Sauce to next level them.
A few days after the delivery order I decide to drop in and pick up another Steak Sandwich. I will warn you that parking is an issue so I decided to fill my car with gas (actually my gas tank) while I waited and killed two birds with one stone.
This time I chose Cheddar Cheese (last time I had Provolone) with Mayo. I think I may have found my perfect Steak Sandwich combination for Fat Moe’s. It was excellent.
There’s a Grilled Cheese & a Moe Goes South of the Border Quesadilla to try plus I need to stop in for Breakfast and see what’s happening with that. My job is never is never done.
