I’m not exactly sure how we ended up at Antiqology (401 N Jefferson Street, Huntington). Marcela and I were looking for antique shops while in Indiana, so I’m sure the addition of ice cream and bottled craft sodas to the equation helped its profile rise to the top of the pile.
Antiqology is on the corner of one of the blocks in the downtown area of Huntington, Indiana. We were in love with the vintage signs to all of the antiques (most are available for sale) all over. The space is very cozy and feels like you could be in someone’s living room.

When you make your way to the back left quadrant of the space, you will run into an old-school-style soda fountain. There are retro candies, ice creams, and the largest selection of bottled sodas I have ever encountered. I was excited and jealous at the same time.
Marcela ordered the beautiful and equally tasty Cookie Monster Sundae. It was a sight to behold.
I noticed that they have a line of Antiqology sodas (they also wholesale all of their craft sodas), so I figured I would go the root beer float route with the Antiqology root beer. It was a big win for your bud, the Burger Beast. I chose wisely.
We sat at the counter, enjoyed our treats, and took in Antiqology in all its glory. It is such a well-thought-out spot, one that you should check out.

Antiqology Antiques for Sale

We almost ran into each other. I discovered this den of antiquities July 14th, 2019 on a road trip.
I was in Indiana for a few days during May 2019. I loved everything about Antiqology.
