I’m in the thick of a burger pop-up and book signing event series rolling into a few states paired with Camacho Cigars. The first Camacho Bold Burger Battle in March was at Sabor Havana Cigars in Doral.
Our first head-to-head battle was with Honest Abe of Smoke Inn of Boynton Beach, Florida.
Honest Abe brought his A-game. His double cheeseburger (diner-style smash) came on a pretzel roll with a couple of candied pork belly pieces and the tiniest cornichon I’ve ever seen.
His secret sauce was tasty and drizzled on the top and bottom buns. Somewhere in the social media world, there is footage of me biting into his cheeburger cheeburger (he was referencing the Belushi skit all night) with equal parts of surprise and joy.
I’m excited to see the future Camacho Bold Burger Battle burgers in North Carolina, Rhode Island, Michigan, Indianapolis, Tennessee, and Texas. The biggest winners on this tour will be those who attend, so take a load off and hang out with us for a few hours.
The Camacho Bold Burger Battle is a one-of-a-kind event, and I’m proud to be a part of it.

What you receive at each event with your ticket purchase will vary slightly. Still, you’ll receive Camacho Cigars, samples of the Burger Beast burger, and, whoever dares compete against me, and an entry to win a raffle ticket for an M16 grill.
Plus, some early-bird arrivals will receive a copy of my book, All About the Burger, which I can sign on the spot for you.
*Customers who purchase a box of Camacho also qualify for the grand prize of $2500 worth of meat.

Still mind blown over the burnt tip, cornichon, pork belly skewer. I think I would love a burnt tip, plantain chunk, queso frito cube too . . .
I know cigar smokers like burgers too, but I hate smoking so much, it would definitely keep me away :-/ Plus smoking makes men’s lips turn an ugly shade of reddish-purple and nobody wants to kiss that. Just saying. LOL ALWAYS enjoy reading your posts and following your adventures.
