Take a Walk Back in Time at Cherry Smash • The Burger Beast

When I was in the middle of remodeling my museum and adding an old school ice cream shop someone said it reminded them of Cherry Smash.

I was like, what is Cherry Smash?

On their website they refer to themselves as The Most Unique Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlour You’ll Ever Experience.

What’s odd is that they’ve been around since 2010 and I had no idea of their existence.

Granted, they are in Coral Springs, which is a little bit of a drive for me but it’s not that far.

There is something to look at in every crevice and I could have spent a couple of hours just sitting here and taking the entire collection in.

I’m totally jealous. This is not something you put together overnight, there is someone carefully curating this collection which is why I love it so.

Now onto all the sweets talk.

Cherry Smash has everything an ice cream parlor should have like candies from yesteryear and shakes, sundaes, floats and malts.

Plus of course, scooped ice cream in a wide variety of flavors.

The selection of sundaes like the Birthday Explosion and The Elvis standout from memory.

We went classic on our couple of visits and enjoyed a chocolate shake, scoop of chocolate on a sugar cone, and a few scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough on a waffle cone.

Marcela and I couldn’t resist the warm salted pretzel, who really can?

There’s a Mega Cone on the menu that is so ridiculous in size that I can’t imagine how anyone could eat it all before it melts.

I won’t be attempting that feat but I will be back for a Root Beer Float.

Cherry Smash now has an ice cream truck that’s out and about so I’d suggest following them on Instagram [link] for its whereabouts.
