Chick-fil-A in Hialeah, Florida

Chick-fil-A in Hialeah opened in the middle of the pandemic. Located just off the Palmetto Expressway and across Westland Mall, it’s where Miami Subs once sat for many years.

I love the custom Chick-fil-A Hialeah stickers. I’m unsure if they’re available for a limited so I suggest you ask for them at the counter when you place your order.

All of your favorite Chick-fil-A foods are available, including breakfast. Choosing what to order is tough, so I mix it up whenever possible.

The ooey, gooey, and cheesy mac and cheese are bonkers good. I love opening up the lid and seeing that crusty, melty taste.

The waffle fries are good but made better with a dipping sauce, and there’s a bunch to choose from. Hands down, my favorite is Chick-fil-A sauce; it’s like a smokey honey mustard.

For me, the nuggets are never under consideration, so it’s either a chicken strip or chicken sandwich kind of night. Nine times out of ten, the spicy chicken sandwich wins that battle.

Although I’ve been known to enjoy a grilled chicken sandwich from time to time, whole wheat bun and all.

And while most folks rave about their shakes (which are good), I’m solidly in the corner of the chocolate chunk cookie as being the dessert to get.

In addition, if you’re like me and can’t get enough of sauces, 8 oz bottles of Chick-fil-A, Polynesian, Garden Herb Ranch, Barbeque, and Honey Mustard will be for sale.

My love for pimento cheese began during my many road trips in the Southern United States. I was thrilled to learn Chick-fil-A was launching the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich.

This new chicken sandwich has pimento cheese, pickled jalapenos, and honey. I couldn’t wait to try it out this morning, so I went to the Chick-fil-A in Hialeah across from Westland Mall to be among the first in the 305 to eat one.

The combination of flavors was right in my wheelhouse, with just enough spiciness without going overboard. I recommend not removing the jalapenos, which adds a light crunch on the tail end.

It’s exciting to finally see a national chain offer a pimento cheese item on its menu. It’s a big win for pimento cheese fans, and I can’t wait to have it again.

💥 P.S.: You can choose between the regular breaded filet, spicy breaded, and grilled chicken. I give a slight edge to the spicy.
