It’s crazy to think that I’ve been eating from Di Piazza Italian restaurant since 1995 when I worked at Best Buy. It’s even crazier that they’ve served families stick-to-your-guts excellent comfort food in Hialeah since 1972.
They’re in the third generation of ownership!
I recently completed my Guide to the Best Meatball Subs in Miami list. Di Piazza easily made the list with their housemade meatballs & red sauce.
You have to start your meal with the irresistible garlic rolls & some of the best fountain Coke you’ll find in the 305. Speaking of which, extra points for serving the drinks in the classic red tumblers associated with great pizza joints across the U.S.
I have to close out the post with a slice of cheese pizza. It’s the first picture in my post, but even though there are many gems on the menu, a slice is where you need to start your journey.
