Ok, so maybe scary is too strong of a word for this selection of Halloween candy for 2020, but they are available for a limited time.
Marcela (my wife) and I are normally minding our own business when one of these limited-time candies or snacks show up on a regular shopping trip to CVS, Target, Walgreens, or Walmart.
From there, it only spirals into sugary madness as we actively search for one that we can’t live without. The problem is that now it’s sold out everywhere unless you’re as persistent as we are.
If you’re at the expert level like we are, then wait for the Halloween candy clearance sales that happen the day after the holiday is over.
But If you’re looking to stay and do your shopping online at this moment, which isn’t entirely a bad idea, I have a few suggestions.
The easiest being ordering from the Amazon site. Everyone has their credit card information saved, and in a few clicks, your candy is on the way.
Believe it or not, eBay is another great source to track down those hard to find Halloween candies.
I’m familiar with Old Time Candy from my days of selling candies at my Burger Museum. They not only have a giant selection of sugar confections for you, but there are Halloween Decade Gift Boxes and even a Personalized Candy Bar if you’re into gift-giving. You could get lost on their website looking up your old-time favorites.

HALLOWEEN THEMED CANDY
I kinda cheated; I did include an Orange Oreo, which is only different in color, not in taste. The Oreo cookie itself does come in five different Halloween designs.
All of the Halloween candy with actual pictures were something we bought this year. If you see a stock picture, it means we came across them, but they didn’t move us emotionally enough to buy. There’s always the clearance sale on November 1st, though!
My favorite hands down were the M&M’s Creepy Cocoa Crisp. I’m a giant milk chocolate M&M’s fan and these add a nice little crunch to each one.
I did include an Amazon link under each candy if you were going to go that route when filling your virtual pumpkin basket.
