Before checking in at our hotel, our first stop in Lakeland was LoveBird Almost Famous Chicken. Nayra & Los of Masa Craft insisted that we eat here.
Marcela & I loved the decor & custom pop culture artwork throughout, including the interesting pic in the ladies restroom. You can see that one at the very end of this post.
The Nashville Hot Chicken tendies were legit, and that buttermilk ranch with dill pickle was freakin’ fantastic. If LoveBird Almost Famous Chicken were selling bottles of their ranch, a couple would have gone home with me that afternoon.
Two plump chicken tenders with pickles, slaw, and a special sauce make up the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. I scaled back and went with the medium level on this one, but that was a mistake; hot is the level to get.
The jalapeño bacon corn & the so gouda mac hit the spot. I have to get the so gouda mac the edge between both cause it has pimento cheese and, unfortunately, a cheezy name.
What about the super creamy banana pudding & apple cobbler? Those were big winners too. Everything was 🔥
