Magic City Pizza had the unenviable task of opening up in the same spot where my beloved That Pizza Place on Coral Way (R.I.P.) was once located. So that means I had a level of expectation even though I knew they were not the same owners.

On my first visit to Magic City Pizza (7401 Coral Way), I started with a pepperoni pie and some garlic rolls. The pizza, while slightly undercooked, was good (the rolls were perfect), but what was missing was the pepperoni portion of it, with about an average of 3 small ones per slice, not a good start or ratio.
They had just recently opened at this point. However, I know that sometimes it takes time to work out the kinks, learn how to use your oven, and find your groove.
On My Second Visit

When I returned a few weeks later, I hoped for the best, exceeding my expectations. The garlic rolls game, which was already very good, had been stepped up, but now the pizza was also on point.
Currently, I’m crushing on the White Pizza (ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, olive oil & oregano), and you definitely can’t miss with the pepperoni, now with those little roni cups.

While we’re on the topic of must-haves, the chicken wings can’t miss. The wings are crispy. Ask for them tossed in the killer Sweet Sriracha sauce.

The red sauce at Magic City Pizza is magic, pun intended. So, if sandwiches are your thing, you will not go wrong with either the chicken parm or meatball sub.
I’m partial to the chicken parm, and it’s pretty filling, so you’ll need to pace yourself. Other times, I’m partial to the meatball sub cause it’s hard to choose between them!

And if you make it dessert by some miracle, there is Abuela’s homemade flan. Yes, there’s flan at Magic City Pizza, and it’s no joke.

Went to Magic City off your recommendation on your instagram and was very impressed. You also have to try the Alfredo Pasta with the crispy chicken (instead of the grilled chicken) very good. Also the meat lovers pie was on point.
I will definitely try the Alfredo Pasta with Crispy Chicken next. Thanks.
