National Cheeseburger Day is celebrated every year on September 18th. Yet, I’m noticing a bunch more deals this year, some of which are barely worth wasting your time on.
Look, I celebrate the burger daily, so National Cheeseburger Day is when we celebrate together. Of course, the deals are out there but making tasty burgers at home with friends and family is a great idea too.
I’ll be doing a lunch Burger Broskys pop-up at Pikadiyo in Coral Gables with Ted’s Burgers for National Cheeseburger Day. Later, I’ll be going out for a cheeseburger.
It’s the only honorable thing to do.

National Cheeseburger Day Deals 2022
What’s the Deal? On September 18th, 7-Eleven 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty members can get a 1/4 pound cheeseburger with American cheese on a brioche bun for $2.
My Thoughts: Are folks eating cheeseburgers from 7-Eleven?
What’s the Deal? Applebee’s is pairing fries and an exclusive Mountain Dew Dark Berry Bash drink with one of their burgers for $10.99. It’s only for orders placed on their website or mobile app.
My Thoughts: This doesn’t sound like much of a deal. Plus, I’m not a fan of Applebee’s, so there’s that too.
Big Deal Burger
What’s the Deal? Big Deal Burger (Dickey’s Barbecue Pit ghost kitchen) has a couple of things going on between September 15th & 16th; you can get a double burger with cheese for $6 or a single burger with cheese for $5 between September 17th & 18th.
My Thoughts: The first part of the deal sounds much better to me.
What’s the Deal? On National Cheeseburger Day, Burger King‘s Royal Perks members will get a free cheeseburger with any $1 purchase through their app or website.
My Thoughts: It’s a savings of between $.75 to $1.00, depending on what part of the U.S. you live. It might be worth it if you’re buying a bushel of burgers.
What’s the Deal? When using the BurgerFi app on September 18th, you’ll receive a $5 reward on your next order when buying a burger or cheeseburger.
My Thoughts: Well, that kinda sucks.
What’s the Deal? Burgerville‘s original cheeseburger will be $2 all day on September 18th. However, the limitations are five per person for walk-ins or two per car in the drive-thru.
My Thoughts: I’m not sure if this is much of a deal with a savings of 55 cents per burger unless you’re planning on loading up.
What’s the Deal? When you register for the first time on the Carl’s Jr. app, you’ll receive a free Famous Star or Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Plus, All Rewards members will be able to buy one get one of the $1 Famous Star.
My Thoughts: Carl’s Jr.’s National Cheeseburger Day deal sounds good, made even better when you sign up with their app for the first time.
What’s the Deal? Halo Burger is celebrating its 99th burgerversary on National Cheeseburger Day with a $1.99 QP burger. You do not need to be a member of their reward program.
My Thoughts: You’re saving $3 on the Halo Burger QP, so it’s a solid deal; plus, you have until the end of the month to redeem.
What’s the Deal? When you register for the first time on the Hardee’s app, you’ll receive a free Famous Star or Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Plus, All Rewards members will be able to buy one get one of the $1 Famous Star.
My Thoughts: Hardee’s National Cheeseburger Day deal sounds good, made even better when you sign up with their app for the first time.
What’s the Deal? Jack in the Box is serving up the Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger for $2 with any purchase in the mobile app on September 18th, but it’s limited to one only.
My Thoughts: At a savings of $1.19, it’s an ok deal if you were going to be ordering Jack in the Box anyway.
Legends Tavern & Grille
What’s the Deal? If you’re dining at South Florida’s Legend’s Tavern & Grille on September 18th, you can choose between a burger or cheeseburger for $5 as long as you purchase a beverage.
My Thoughts: Legend’s Tavern & Grille’s 1/2 pound burger is $13.99, so this is a phenomenal deal.
What’s the Deal? Receive a Mcdonald’s Double Cheeseburger for free on National Cheeseburger Day with a $1 purchase through their app.
My Thoughts: Mcdonald’s always nails it; that’s a $3.39 (price near me) burger deal.
What’s the Deal? You need to sign up for Miller’s Ale House Raving Fans eClub by Saturday to have the opportunity to get their classic cheeseburger for $6.99. You can also upgrade to one of their signature burgers for three more dollars.
My Thoughts: So that’s a saving of $3 off their classic and $5 off a signature like their prime, solid deal. I also like that the promotion runs from September 18th through the 24th.
What’s the Deal? Spend a $5 minimum on the MOOYAH app and get an MDC burger for only five bucks. This deal is through September 18th.
My Thoughts: In Miami, the MDC burger is $10.49, so that’s a sizeable saving. If you order fries and a Coke, it puts you over the $5 threshold.
What’s the Deal? Select Shake Shack locations are giving away free cheeseburgers on National Cheeseburger Day from 11 AM to 2 PM. All you’ll be paying is tax. When ordering through via DoorDash, use the promo code SHACK.
My Thoughts: Now this is a deal to jump on, a freakin’ free Shack burger.
What’s the Deal? On September 18th, Smashburger is offering a buy one, get one free deal on single or double patties and even protein options, including beef, grilled chicken, turkey, and black bean.
My Thoughts: You gotta love that the deal is not only online with the promo code BOGO22 but also in-store; great job. But grilled chicken, turkey, and black bean patties are not burgers, sorry, not sorry.
The Burger Experience
What’s the Deal? The Burger Experience (Smokey Bones’ ghost kitchen) is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day with $5 cheeseburgers. There are five choices: Classic, Classic with Cheese, Bacon Cheeseburger, Mushroom and Swiss Burger, and Green Chile Burger.
My Thoughts: Savings vary from $1 on the classic to $4 on the mushroom & Swiss, but my eyes are hyper-focused on the Green Chile burger I didn’t know existed.
What’s the Deal? Twin Peaks is giving you a cheeseburger, fries, and 22oz Bud or Bud Light for ten bucks on National Cheeseburger Day.
My Thoughts: You’re getting the beer for free, so it’s a good deal if you’re a fan of Budweiser.
What’s the Deal? Wayback Burgers is celebrating on September 18th with a buy one, get one free classic cheeseburger via their mobile app. However, it is limited to one deal per app account.
My Thoughts: I remember when they were Jake’s Wayback Burgers, anyways…you can’t beat a real deal buy one get one burger promo.
What’s the Deal? Any purchase on the Wendy’s app will get you a free Dave’s Single with cheese on September 18th for National Cheeseburger Day.
My Thoughts: I love this deal cause I get a Dave’s Single with cheese and a Frosty for $1. Maybe they can do a buy one get one Double Stack next year; a man can dream.
What’s the Deal? White Castle has a Cheesy 10-Sack, featuring ten cheese sliders for $9 (or $10 in Arizona, New Jersey, and New York). The cheesy toppings include American, smoked cheddar, jalapeno, or ghost pepper cheeses. There’s also a 20% off any order on their Craver Nation App through September 30th.
My Thoughts: The iconic sliders from White Castle are inexpensive, so it’s not much savings, but I wonder if you can combine the deal with the 20% off?
