How are the Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Pringles Chips?

I finally got my grubby mitts on the new Pringles & Wendy’s Spicy Chicken collaboration. I’ve been waiting for these fellas since I wrote about them back on May 31st.

The original launch date was early June but ended up delayed by almost a month. It’s ok; I forgive them for messing up my entire month as long as this one doesn’t taste like the previous collab.

I have a personal attachment to the Wendy’s Spicy Chicken sandwich. For a long time, it was my go-to sandwich in the fast-food world.

Pringles has outdone itself with the can artwork. It’s bright and eye-catching, and it made me almost lose self-control when ripping open the can.

Don’t go full-on crazy train, though. The bottom side of the tab has a code that will give you a free spicy chicken sandwich with purchase when inputted at the Wendy’s app.

So, let’s get what you’re probably thinking out of your mind. You will not be closing your eyes, biting into one, and thinking you’re eating a Wendy’s Spicy Chicken sandwich.

Now that I just shattered your Pringles hopes and dreams, let’s remember that this is a potato chip at the end of the day. Once you accept that, it will be hard to be disappointed.

What the chips do have is a lingering peppery bite that I enjoyed more after each bite. These chips don’t have the punch of Clancy’s Nashville Hot Chicken chips.

I’m thinking maybe having some creamy ranch sauce to dip the Wendy’s Spicy Chicken chips might be nice or just eat ’em one at a time as Pringles intended.

I almost forgot, I found the Pringles Wendy’s collab at Publix, where they’re B1G1 aka Buy One Get One FREE for the week. I grabbed the last one at my Publix, so I took a Sour Cream & Onion for my free can.
