Three Days in Fayetteville, North Carolina
If we’re on the road, then we’re traveling for road food & my wife Marcela is antiquing.
So we stopped in Fayetteville, NC, for a few nights to eat and also hang with old friends.
Pimento Cheese is mostly a Southern thing. Burger Beast is obsessed with it; so he eats Pimento Cheese wherever he finds some.

We loved Biscuitville so much, we discussed it over the entire course of our 27-day road trip.
We drove straight from Miami to Orlando on a mission to eat burgers at Swine & Sons.
Was it worth the almost 4-hour drive? You better believe it!
If you’re in Atlanta, you need to prioritize your time and make sure a stop at Fox Bros. BBQ is in the cards.
OK Cafe in Atlanta is a diner that nails everything from the food to the decor. It’s modern while at the same time being retro.
If you love Heavy Metal, Star Wars, and BBQ, you have found your nirvana (not the alternative band, but they would probably fit in here) at Lansing’s Meat BBQ.
Burgers and pies are Boyce General Store’s specialty.
Don’t miss out on Fridays when they host a weekly fish fry, the entire community comes out!
We hit up a couple of Jacksonville restaurants I had my eye on but The Bearded Pig BBQ was the only restaurant on my list that everyone was excited to try.
The Dutch Oven is housed in an old passenger train depot. This Amish bakery is predominantly known for baked goods and sandwiches.
When you’re driving aimlessly & all of a sudden see giant neon letters that say Killer Burgers you must make a stop.
It doesn’t even matter if you just ate.
As a giant fan of Fat Possum Records, I was ecstatic to visit the End of All Music store and the Lamar Lounge Restaurant in Oxford, Mississippi.
