During that dastardly pandemic, I ordered Wingstop delivery a few times. Marcela and I didn’t think very much of it.
For some reason, I was confused between Wingstop and Wing Mania. My buddy Ed set me straight and told me I needed to give Wingstop another shot, so I did.
I didn’t even realize there was seating; I thought it was a to-go joint. Plus, as a bonus, they have fountain soda.
Guess what? Ed was right; I loved the Hot Honey Rub chicken wings from Wingstop.
And the fresh-cut fries with house-made ranch ensured there would be a return visit.
A Few Weeks Later
The Garlic Parmesan chicken tenders are cut from the same cloth as Lemon Pepper wings, which changed my life a few years back. This was my first and only mistake; the wings are superior to the tenders.
Voodoo Fries were ordered since Ed said that I needed them. The fresh-cut fries are covered in Cajun seasoning, ranch, and cheese sauce.
The ranch sauce ties the Voodoo Fries together. They were great; however, the fresh-cut fries with seasoning and a side of house-made ranch sauce best these.
I closed out my second visit with the original hot chicken sandwich. The sandwich comes in a sauce of your choosing, and Wingstop isn’t stingy with the pickles, either.
That’s a solid chicken sandwich that I need to try again but in a different sauce. Speaking of which, those Lemon Pepper wings will be mine on the next visit, along with fresh cuts, ranch sauce, and an ice-cold Coke. I’m so excited to taste them.
