I finally made my way to La Birra Bar for lunch today. La Birra Bar has other locations in Argentina; this is their first restaurant in the United States.
The number of combinations at La Birra Bar seems pretty endless, but I ordered two of their signature burgers, fries & a fountain Coke to wash it all down.
🍔-1️⃣ Royale with Cheese – Two 4oz ground in-house beef smashed patties with American cheese, diced red onions, ketchup, & yellow mustard on a housemade fluffy & slightly sweet burger bun.
Going into this, I was thinking this was a nostalgic burger. The flavor profile is that of your favorite childhood burger with premium ingredients. It hit all the right notes for me, and I loved it.
The $13ish price point might be too steep for some, but let’s be honest: you get what you pay for. There is a single 7oz. patty version, if that’s more your speed.
The fries are skin-on and lightly seasoned. These fellas are ready to get dunked in ketchup, so I did!
🤔 What about the 2nd burger & fries? Well, that’s a story for another day.
