Crackers Casual Dining is servin’ up tastiness in Miami Springs
There’s no doubt about it; Crackers Casual Dining (78 Canal Street, Miami Springs) makes me feel good. I’ve had about ten meals here over the last two years. The brisket is probably the only thing I wouldn’t order again. My bud Fatgirl Hedonist had the same sentiment when she visited Crackers. Now that we got that out of the way, I can gush over how great and addictive 99.9% of the dishes are.
Real Comfort Food Talk
The Chicken Fried Chicken on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes is the perfect meal to have right before you take a nap. You will wake up refreshed and probably still full, but that’s a good thing. While we’re on the topic of sleeping, those freakin’ Fatty Fries show up in my afternoon daydreams:
I’m skipping along to my farmhouse and find a giant plate of Fatty Fries at the dining room table. My Mom is ringing the dinner bell. I’m trying to eat as many fries as possible before the rest of my family shows up. Ok, so that wasn’t a real daydream I had, but it could have been.
You might need to bring someone with you so you’ll be able to try the open face Meatloaf Stacker. It’s another one of the big winners on the Crackers Casual Dining menu.
On the dessert tip, everyone seems to trip over themselves for the Deep Fried Bread Pudding. I’ve found that the daily pies and cakes are far superior. If, by any chance, the Double Chocolate Cookie Dough Cake is available, please let me know via social media. I will be forever indebted to you. Hey, I wasn’t kidding about that last part.
