JB’s Cheesesteaks and Chicken Phillys food truck is a converted ice cream truck. It’s located daily in Ft. Lauderdale and Hollywood and keeps the menu small with only four food items.
My bud Manny and I ordered a cheesesteak combo and chicken Philly combo to share, which included crinkle-cut fries and a soft drink. No one else was in line, so that wait was short for our grub.
We were not prepared for what was about to happen, and we were overwhelmed by how great both subs were. JB killed it!
Maybe it was the white American cheese melted perfectly under the shredded meat or the fresh subroll? Perhaps it was the perfectly shredded steak and chicken with grilled onions? I can’t pinpoint exactly what it was, but a repeat visit is in order.
Now, you can also add peppers if you desire, but it’s unnecessary. These two subs were perfectly delicious, and the side of seasoned fries didn’t hurt. It makes me wish I lived right across the street instead of the forty-five-minute drive from my house.
