Black Market Miami was among the twenty-two participants of the 2019 Heineken Light Burger Beast Challenge. Downtown Miami is not a part of town I normally frequent, but I had heard some good things about this upscale sports bar.
Even though I was here to try their mac n cheese specialty burger, I couldn’t say no to the fried pickles or panko-breaded chicken tenders. What can I do? I’m a comfort food-o-holic.
So, I loaded up the Mac N Cheese Burger with a fried egg & bacon. Over the top? Yes, but luckily, all the mac n cheese that tried to escape ended up getting salvaged with a fork.
Note to self, order the burger and mac n cheese separately. It was way better that way. The crispy fried pickles and panko-breaded chicken tenders rounded out my awesome lunch.
Warning, Black Market Miami has a full bar that is perfect for South Florida sports fanatics, or if you’re like me, use the space in your stomach for the super indulgent lava cake.
