Eats & Treats (9211 Cypress Lake Drive) wasn’t on the first page of results for Ft. Myers food. I’m not one to give up easily when searching online for somewhere to chow down. It may take some digging to find a hidden gem, but you’ll be glad you put in some elbow grease when you hit gold.
Marcela wanted some dessert. So my cousin Fred and I go savory and decide to split a chili cheese dog, a cheeseburger, chicken tenders, and an order of their chili.
I enjoyed the chili all by its lonesome, but on that hot dog with the housemade cheese, it was off the charts.
Fries with seasoning embedded in its potato wall linings are not my thing but top it with some of that chili and cheese sauce, and you might be able to change my mind.
I didn’t expect the burger to be any near as great as it was. I was sure I’d be taking one bite and trying to convince Fred to eat the rest of it. Instead, I found myself quietly eating it and hoping he wouldn’t ask for some more.
Freshly made chicken tenders? Really? I didn’t see that one coming either—definitely another worthy item for you to try when you visit Eats & Treats.
Marcela enjoyed her sundae. Even though I didn’t try it, it did look killer. It’s why I included the picture below.
Next time I’ll finish off my meal with one of those $7 scoop milkshakes and no sharing on the cheeseburger.
