Once upon a time, this La Brasa Grill in Westchester (Miami) was an IHOP. I ate there hundreds of times with my late grandfather.
By the time the IHOP closed, its best days were behind it. I only hoped that whichever resto replaced it would be great; enter La Brasa Grill.

La Brasa Grill is known for their Peruvian-style roasted chicken. I can’t claim to be an expert in Peruvian roasted chicken, but I can’t imagine someone else doing it better.
The truth is, I come to La Brasa Grill for the roasted chicken, but I’m obsessed with their highly addictive garlic roasted potatoes.
Garlic Roasted Potatoes Talk

I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be fulfilled emotionally if I only ate potatoes and skipped out on the chicken. Well, the potatoes in the garlic oil are great; dipping them in the cilantro and hot sauce couldn’t and wouldn’t hurt.
By the way, when my wife went to the restroom, I stole one of her potatoes cause if you snooze, you lose around me.
Back To Chicken Talk
Peruvian roasted chicken is best known as Pollo a la Brasa. The marinated rotisserie chicken also has a crispy skin, which is the first thing that hits you on your first bite.

As much as I would like to eat a whole chicken, usually, I’m a half-chicken guy cause I need to leave space for the potatoes, and black beans & rice. The chicken lomo saltado with tomatoes and fries is another must, and it’s my wife’s favorite at La Brasa Grill.
