McDonald’s Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon Quarter Pounder

What if I told you that McDonald’s is launching, for a limited time, a Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon Quarter Pounder nationally on July 10th? Also, what if I told you it’s available in many restaurants early?

Not since the release of the three different Big Macs in 2016 has McDonald’s had a buzz going with a new burger sandwich. I’ve been waiting a few months for the launch of this fella, and I finally spotted a Ft. Lauderdale location after seeing a promotional poster on their window.

I dropped off Marcela at the Galeria Mall and returned to the McDonald’s down the street On Sunrise Boulevard to order one, but I made a big mistake. After eating and enjoying Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon QPC, the thought crossed my mind that the double version would be better.

Attempt Number 2

My next opportunity to find a McDonald’s with the new sando would not materialize for a few days. I was visiting my parents when I pulled up the app and saw that the golden arches near them were waiting for me.

So I do the only sensible thing, I order the Double Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon QPC with medium fries and the best Coca-Cola in the world. The meal will set you back just a little over $13 with tax, but is it worth it?

Let’s get the obvious out of the way. The fries were crispy, salty, and recently fried; what’s not to enjoy? And, of course, that ol’ pal of mine, the McDonald’s ice-cold Coke, is perfect and peerless.

Please take a long look at the double QPC. It’s a thing of craveability, and that little piece of bacon adds that little extra oomph.

McDonald’s Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon QPC should be two freshly cooked quarter-pound beef patties with two slices of cheese, bacon, jalapeños, and cheese sauce on a toasted bun. If executed properly, you will be on cloud nine like I was eating this beauty queen.

Is it worth the $13 price tag? Yes, especially considering I paid $13 for the Grimace meal with ten nuggets, fries, and a pretty good berry shake.

Would I eat it again? Absolutely, but now I’m trying to track down the Egg McMuffin with jalapeños and cheese sauce before time runs out. As you know, a Beast’s job is never done.
