We probably didn’t have the ideal situation for trying Buddy’s Pizza, but our 2022 road trip was brutal—lots of driving but, luckily, lots of eating.
Marcela, Fred, and I had just returned from one of our events and were just done; saying we were tired is an understatement.
So my first thought is, what food can we get delivered to the hotel? Pizza seems to be the one thing we all can agree on.
Yes, I’m familiar with Buddy’s Pizza, but I was still in a haze and trying to wind down when I looked over their menu offerings. It wasn’t the pizza that called out to me but the potato wedges.
Buddy’s Pizza claims to be the Original Detroit Style Pizza. I’m not a pizza historian, so I’ll take them at their word. Plus, I’m not on a fact-finding mission; we’re just looking for great grub.
This much I know; the pepperoni pizza was out of this world good. And please don’t sleep on their potato wedges & sauces, also mucho bueno.
