MEAT Eatery & Taproom‘s Boca Raton location is located on the bottom floor of the google-esque Cendyn Spaces building. The actual restaurant itself is cozy with counter seating & 20 some bars stools all around but if that’s not your thing, there is also seating all over the bottom floor of the building too.
I could probably recite by memory the MEAT Eatery & Taproom menu from their Islamorada location. The menu looks pretty identical except for one thing that catches my eye and unfortunately at 5PM does me no good, breakfast. If you make it out for breakfast please have the MEAT Burrito with Chorizo, Pickled Jalapeños, Provolone Cheese & Beer braised Onions in my name.
You always need to start your meal with the Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup topped with some of the house-made Bacon Bits. Try as I may to prevent it, I always spill some of this soup on myself so I end up drinking it. I feel like Goldilocks when I do but you can call me Beastilocks if you’d like.
Another favorite of mine is the Inside-Out Juicy Lucy Burger which is stuffed with Bacon & Pimento Cheese. Let’s have a moment of silence while we ponder about how great that sounds…….
A side of the house-made Bacon is a no-brainer.
The Home Wrecker, a 12-inch half-pound Wagyu Hot Dog is just as big and great as it sounds. I added some Beer Braised Onions, Cheddar Cheese & some of their house-made Mustard to take it to the next level. If and only if you’re very hungry then this is the dish for you.
Much like their other location, this MEAT Eatery was featuring a Strawberry, Banana & Nutella Bread Pudding but Chef George Patti suggested I try the Dirty Banana Shake. They take Banana Bread Ale, blend it with their Nutella Ice Cream and what you get is pure magic.
The M.E.A.T. revolution has finally arrived in Boca Raton, are you ready for it?
