Miami Burger Fans first tasted Argentina’s Food Truck Store when it opened on Wednesday, September 15th, 2022. I was invited to try the burgers a few days before, and I know you’ll love them.
Here’s some vital information about Food Truck Store: These folks grind all of their beef in-house to make their patties, and if that wasn’t enough, bake their hamburger buns. You know, next-level shit.

The Food Truck Store‘s The San Bernardino Burger
Regional Specialty Burgers
If you plan to try the over 20 burgers at the Food Truck Store, it will take you a while. But it will be totally worth it.
In addition to their beefy creations, there are a bunch of Regional Burger Specialties. I’ve barely made a dent in trying what’s happening at the Food Truck Store, but here are some of my favorites.
In my burger lifetime, I’ve eaten two real deal Butter Burgers, the regional specialty from Wisconsin. The first, from Wisconsin natives, the Wholesome Rollers food truck, and the second, the Food Truck Store.
TFTS’s version is two 4.2oz house ground burger patties with American cheese, sauteed onions, and butter…a damn fine burger.
I love their Wisconsin, and it might be my personal favorite if their Texas patty melt wasn’t so damn good! It’s their tribute to Whataburger with two of their 4.2oz patties, white American cheese, chopped onion & creamy pepper sauce on two pieces of Texas toast.
The Oklahoma Onion Burger, which George Motz popularized worldwide, is another beautiful creation: Two 3oz smashed patties with smashed grilled onions, and American cheese on Martin’s potato roll.

The San Bernardino is a tribute burger to McDonald’s, so it comes with American cheese, chopped onions, ketchup & mustard.

My last suggestion is the Chicago burger inspired by what many folks consider the best burger in the United States: Au Cheval Double Cheeseburger: Two 4.2oz burger patties, American cheese, thick-cut bacon, fried egg, chopped red onion, and dijonnaise sauce. Wow, just wow.

And don’t skip out on the fries like George Motz likes; they’re pretty good, too.

SoBe Burger Bash Special
In February 2023, I dropped by the Food Truck Store to snap up a couple of their Burger Bash sliders with seasoned crinkle cut topped with American cheese, caramelized onions & special sauce.
They only needed an excellent fountain cola or Mexi-Coke to wash everything down. Unfortunately, they only had cans. However, after suggesting to Rodo (TFTS’s founder) how well a Mexican Coke pairs with his food, it is now available along with the glass-bottled versions of Sprite and Fanta.

Don’t Want a Food Truck Store Burger?
The Food Truck Store has other options if you’re hanging with a miserable friend or relative. I approve of their grilled cheese, bacon grilled cheese, chicken tender sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and even the Caesar salad.

Listen, I’ve heaped enough praise on the Food Truck Store. Check them and start your long journey to try all the burgers on the menu. Let me know how it goes!
