A few years back, Bodega on Central in St. Pete had just closed its doors as my wife Marcela & I had arrived.
Since then, it has stuck in my mind.
Doce Provisions in the Little Havana part of Miami has it all, from excellent food to a homey and inviting space.
The Croquetas & Pan con Bistec are next level.
I drove by Sandy’s Cuban Cafe with plans to have a late lunch. Unfortunately, Sandy’s was closed for the day when I returned.
So I waited…….almost an entire year for another attempt.
