A Lo Cubano Kitchen is a food truck based out of Orlando but run by Miamians. The menu is all about classic & fusion Cuban comfort food.
CAO Bakery, which is all over South Florida, is brought to you by the same family as Vicky Bakery. It’s the next generation’s version of a Cuban Bakery.
Hiding in the corner of a strip mall in Westchester is Odaly’s Delight Cafe – a gem waiting to be discovered with daily specials, and cantina.
KUSH by Stephen’s en Hialeah has served hand-sliced pastrami sandwiches since 1954.
They’ve also got all of your deli favorites like latkes, matzoh ball soup & bagels with lox.
Just a few blocks from my parent’s house in Westchester is a Cuban restaurant they frequent, El Rinconcito Latino.
There are five other locations around town.
Doce Provisions in the Little Havana part of Miami has it all, from excellent food to a homey and inviting space.
The Croquetas & Pan con Bistec are next level.
The Fish House in Miami has great seafood, pasta & unexpectedly a tasty burger.
I’d suggest finishing your meal with mango cheesecake.
I drove by Sandy’s Cuban Cafe with plans to have a late lunch. Unfortunately, Sandy’s was closed for the day when I returned.
So I waited…….almost an entire year for another attempt.
